And even though your husband shared this on Twits himself, I just doubt that he understands that the personal privacy settings he set up on Instagram don’t really appear sensible this way.
I just tested this myself to discover what happened basically would set my Instagram account to ‘private’ then share the image through Twits. It earliest got an answer from Barry who had no idea what I was testing, but the more interesting component for me was whether or not others could right now see my picture. And as it happens they can. The link by itself is general population if you share it. The hyperlink you see in the tweet was clickable and went straight to my Instagram picture, for virtually any of my personal 10. 6K followers upon Twitter to view.
When looking at my own tweet by using a mobile application the picture actually showed up inside the stream, you don’t even have to click through, even though it is supposed not to present.

You can do this simply by finding the Instagram app within your applications options where you can establish the visibility per software.
Just connect with people you know: others will take your photo link and promote it, as soon as they are your friends. You want to ensure only your buddies are the types who can see so that in the event someone does indeed share devoid of your agreement, you know who also to talk to.
Shut off the ‘Add to Photomap’ function meant for the images you don’t desire publicly shared. It’s a great feature that shows wherever your pics were used, but the map is watchable from your profile, so you might want to think twice.
Delete old photos that you don’t have to have public ever again. Just to become safe, proceed through your Instagram feed and delete any kind of photo that you feel is probably not fit ready for general population viewing. Only to be on the safe side.
